Drobo is no longer mounted, so I moved the script /etc/cron.d/drobo_backup to ~root/bin, which is where the non-FMA backup scripts are located. Just move it back to cron.d to re-activate. Note other scripts are activated in /etc/logrotate.d. Did this because sometimes the script thought the drobo was mounted when it wasnt, and ended up writing most of synapse to the local disk, hence filling it up.

crux.si.washington.edu is still(!) alive and backing up synapse to /usr/local/backups. synapsesync is populated by bin/synapsesync.sh, which syncs but deletes files no longer on synapse. systems/synapse is populated by bin/synapsebackup.sh I think, which doesn't delete files no longer present on synapse. systems/synapse is 266G because of this.

Would like to figure out how to backup synapse using rsync from synapse to my home drobo, but haven't figured out how to do that yet. Not urgent as long as crux is still running, and as long as not much is being done on synapse. The only thing for now that really changes is the drupal website, mostly with software updates and notes like these.
