Tomcat

Synapse is running a Tomcat J2EE server, version 7.0.76.

webapps directory: /var/lib/tomcat/webapps

url/port: http://synapse.si.washington.edu:8080

manager application: http://synapse.si.washington.edu:8080/manager/html

user conf: /etc/tomcat/tomcat-users.xml

Tomcat is deployed as a systemd service. Start Tomcat with the following (similar for stop, restart, etc.):

systemctl start tomcat
